Jonathan Nixon has arrived in South Africa and sends the following note.

Am in PE. (Port Elizabeth)
>
> Swam one loop this morning. Definetly an ocean swim. Conditions were
> perfect and it was still choppy. Decent sized swells make it a
> challenge to site. Water is a lot saltier than California or The
> Sound.
>
> The weather is great. Warm and windy but not a cloud in the sky.
> Yesterday I swam for 24 minutes and rode for 40 minutes. Today after the swim I
> road for 45 minutes and ran for 25.
>
> Some rain is forecast for Saturday but is expected to clear by Sunday.
> Keep your fingers crossed.
>
> Plan on registering this afternoon and I’ll keep my eyes open for a
> shirt and some cool swag
>
> I am relaxed and loving being here!
