A few years back Kathy and I went to Rome for a week. It was a trip of a life time for us. As we left Rome to travel to Southern Italy we came upon a number of runners arriving at the train station. We learned the Rome Marathon was taking place two days after we left.
This weekend Mile High Multisport athlete Barb Essess tackles the famous cobblestones of Rome. Best Wishes Barb!!

Several of you are running in local Shamrock races this weekend. Good Luck and enjoy the festivities.

Congratulations to MHM Junior athlete Kevin Stoddard on qualifying and racing at the Sectional Swim meet held last weekend in Seattle. Kevin took 5 seconds off his 400 time and 1 minute off his mile time. Kevin’s only fault all weekend was flashing a smile at his coach (Matt Beck) towards the end of his mile. Per Matt “he won’t do that again!!”. I won’t embarrass any of us by posting Kevin’s times!!

Congratulations to Marci and Dan Madruga on their fine races last weekend at the Bear Creek 9 mile time trial. I have been unable to find official resutls for the race.
