About Coach Kathy

Kathy has participated in the sport of triathlon for over 25 years. Her love for this sport continues to grow. As a working mother of two active kids, her full time job has her traveling a three-state territory. She is living proof that working women can race triathlons successfully while still being a mother and wife. Her background includes under graduate degrees in microbiology and nursing with a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Kathy's philosophy is that racing shouldn't be complicated. Consistency, persistence and dedication will help you achieve your goals. She believes that the race isn't always won by the strongest and fastest person, but the person who thinks they can and tries. Women who compete in triathlons have improved self esteem, confidence and provide excellent role models for their children.

She has raced successfully from sprint distances to the Ironman, qualifying for Nationals or Worlds at all distances. She works with athletes of all levels and has a passion for getting women involved in this sport. Kathy only takes a limited amount of athletes each season.
